Cameroon vs Guinea prediction, odds and preview

Cameroon take on Guinea in their opening Group C game of the Africa Cup of Nations on Monday evening at the Stade de Yamoussoukro.

The Indomitable Lions were bronze medalists in the previous edition where they hosted the tournament, with marksman Vincent Aboubakar stealing the show in Cameroon.

Rigobert Song’s team shared the spoils with Zambia in a pre-tournament friendly in a 1-1 result, and have won only one of their last five matches.

Guinea however beat Nigeria in their pre-tournament friendly and will be led by skipper Naby Keita, yet their talisman Serhou Guirassy has fitness concerns ahead of their group opener.

Cameroon however will have skipper Vincent Aboubakar unavailable after the forward sustained an injury in training over the weekend.

Kaba Diawara’s side are undefeated in their last three matches against the Indomitable Lions, winning twice and drawing once in the period.

The clash comes off at 5:00 pm.
