Bayern Munich director Christoph Freund has ruled out a move for Joshua Kimmich away from the club.

The Germany international has just a year left on his current deal at the Allianz Arena with lots of interest beginning to come in.

There are talks the player could be involved in Bayern’s deal for Nordi Mukiele but Freund has rubbished such reports.

He also hinted the club will have a conversation with Kimmich about his future.

“Kimmich to PSG in a swap with Mukiele? I can only smile about it. That’s totally far-fetched,” he told BILD.

“Joshua Kimmich is a very important player for us, one of our leading players. We will sit down and talk about his future.”

Kimmich has been at Bayern since 2015 after arriving from Bundesliga rivals Stuttgart.
