Tunisia and Namibia will go toe to toe in the opening game of Group E at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) on Tuesday night at the Stade Olympique de Rades.

The 2004 winners finished in the quarter-finals of the previous competition and are considered one of the tournament favourites for this edition.

Jalel Kadri’s men played out a 0-0 draw with Mauritania in their pre-tournament friendly and are unbeaten in their last four matches.

Namibia however will be making their fourth appearance in this edition, having failed to get past the group stage on all occasions.

The Brave Warriors played out a goalless draw with Ghana prior to this tournament and will fancy their chances of making history this time around.

For Tunisia, the experienced Youssef Msakni will look to make a century of appearances for the Carthage Eagles with this game and is one to keep a close eye on.

Meanwhile, Namibia will heavily depend on record goalscorer Peter Shalulile for this clash.

The match comes off at 17:50 GMT.
