Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus says the team should have walked away with all three points in their game against Egypt.
The Black Stars faced the Pharaohs in their second group game at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Despite a brace from Kudus, who was only making his first AFCON appearance, Ghana failed to claim the maximum points.
Errors by Inaki Williams and Osman Bukari saw the team get punished as Egypt ensured the game was tied at the end of 90 minutes.
Speaking at the end of the game, the West Ham United man expressed his disappointment with the scoreline.
“We got a point today,” said the 23-year-old.
“I felt we deserved more because the goals [Egypt] scored were from some silly mistakes from us which we need to learn from.”
The result also leaves Ghana bottom of Group B with just one game to go to determine their fate.
Ghana face Mozambique on Monday, January 22.
