Two African giants go toe-to-toe in Group C of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations when Senegal take on Cameroon at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium on Friday night.
The current champions were off to a flying start with a 3-0 win over Gambia, meanwhile, Cameroon shared the spoils with Guinea in a 1-1 draw in their group opener.
A dominant display from the Teranga Lions over the Scorpions saw Lamine Camara and Papa Gueye burst into life, and the current holders look the favourites over Cameroon moving into this clash.
Rigobert Song’s side however played out their third successive draw in their group opener against Guinea and needed Frank Magri to rescue a point for them as they failed to entrench themselves last Tuesday.
The Indomitable Lions will be hopeful of getting a good result from this clash as they equally share the advantage with Senegal in the head-to-head record, winning one game apiece.
For Senegal, Nicolas Jackson is in contention to play a role from the start in this game, after being impressive off the bench in the win over Gambia.
Nonetheless, Cameroon could have Andre Onana back in the sticks after arriving late to the tournament, and marksman Vincent Aboubakar could play a part should he recover in time for this game.
The match comes off at 17:00 GMT.
