Bayer Leverkusen will look to continue their lead at the top of the Bundesliga table when they face Leipzig on Saturday.
Xabi Alonso’s men play away from home over the weekend as they come up against the fourth-placed side on the league table.
Leverkusen come into the game at the back of a 1-0 win over Augsburg in their last game with Exequiel Palacios scoring a late winner.
Leipzig were also handed a 1-0 defeat at home against Frankfurt in their last league game.
12 points separate Leverkusen and Leipzig ahead of the meeting on Saturday evening.
Alonso’s men have won three of the last five meetings between these two teams while they have been two wins for Marco Rose’s men.
While playing at home, Leipzig have only lost once against Leverkusen in the last five meetings.
Leverkusen are currently four points above Bayern Munich on the league table and could temporarily make it seven until the latter play their game.
The away side on Saturday are still yet to lose a game this season but have had three draws after 17 games.
The fixture is scheduled for a 17:30 kickoff.
