Mozambique vs Ghana prediction, odds and preview

Ghana will need luck on their side in their final game at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) when they take on Mozambique.

The Black Stars find themselves in a situation they were in two years ago where a win would have secured a place in the next round.

However, they suffered defeat in their final group game and bowed out of the 2021 edition with just one point.

Ghana have only one point from their opening two games in Ivory Coast, a draw against Egypt, having lost to Cape Verde in their first game.

Just like Ghana, Mozambique also drew against Egypt but suffered a battering against Cape Verde in their second game.

The Black Stars will face Mozambique for the second time in AFCON history after their first meeting during the 1996 edition.

The Mambas are also yet to win a game against Ghana in six meetings across all competitions, losing four and drawing the other two.

A win for Ghana will give them four points, putting them in a good place to advance to the next stage of the competition.

The game is set to kick off at 8:00 pm.
