Namibia will face Mali in their final Group F game at the Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday night at Stade de Laurent Poku.

Collins Benjamin’s side recorded their first-ever Africa Cup of Nations win by beating Tunisia in their opening group game before losing 4-0 to South Africa, yet the Brave Warriors can book a place in the last 16 for the first time, should they manage to avoid defeat against the Eagles.

Mali however are undefeated so far in Group E, beating South Africa and sharing the spoils with Tunisia in their first two matches at this tournament.

Eric Chelle’s team are unbeaten in their last six matches and although they have all but qualified to the next round of the competition, Mali would desire to finish as Group E winners ahead of the next round.

Nonetheless, Deon Hotto is expected to be crucial for the Brave Warriors in midfield, and Peter Shalulile will look to be indispensable in attack Wednesday night.

For Mali however, Yves Bissouma is likely to be given the nod from the start after dropping to the bench in the Tunisia clash.

The match starts at 17:00 GMT.
