Manchester City will aim to keep their Premier League title hopes intact when they host Burnley at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.
The hosts beat Tottenham Hotspur in a 1-0 result in the FA Cup last weekend while Burnley shared the spoils with Luton Town in a 1-1 result a fortnight ago.
The reverse fixture saw the Cityzens put three past the visitors at Turf Moor, and Vincent Kompany’s side could be in for another annihilation against the champions.
Manchester City are unbeaten in their last six matches across all competitions and look the favourites for this clash with five wins in their last five matches against the Clarets.
The visitors however have only one win in their last six matches and will need resilience if they want to pull a surprise on the hosts.
Pep Guardiola has confirmed Erling Haaland’s fitness for this clash as positive, and the forward could see some minutes afforded him off the bench.
Meanwhile, Burnley will have to see this game out without Charles Taylor and Nathan Redmond on Wednesday night.
The match starts at 7:30 pm.
