Manchester City will be aiming to keep their title hopes on track when they travel to the Lner Community Stadium to face Brentford on Monday night.

The hosts suffered a disappointing 3-2 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last week while the Cityzens beat Burnley in a 3-1 result with Julian Alvarez grabbing a brace.

Thomas Frank’s side beat the champions in both fixtures last season in the league and will be aiming to repeat that feat again come Monday night.

The advantage lies in the balance as both sides have two wins in their four matches against each other, losing twice in the period.

Pep Guardiola’s side will have the opportunity to level Arsenal on points and still have a game in hand to edge Liverpool at the summit should they grab the win over the Bees.
