Aston Villa will host Chelsea in the fourth round of the English FA Cup on Wednesday night at Villa Park in what is expected to be a tough battle.
Following a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge in the reverse fixture, the Villans will hope the home advantage pays off on the day.
Following a 3-1 defeat to Newcastle in their final match in January, Unai Emery’s men returned to winning ways with a statement win over Sheffield United in a 5-0 result.
Meanwhile, the Blues suffered defeat to Wolves in a 4-2 thrashing at Stamford Bridge.
The hosts hold the advantage ahead of this clash with three wins in their last five
matches against the Blues, drawing and losing one match apiece in the period.
Unai Emery has confirmed the return of Pau Torres from injury and the Spaniard could play a part in this game for the Villans.
Chelsea however will have to rely on the services of Cole Palmer in this clash as the Englishman has netted 10 goals in the Premier League this season.
