After their convincing win over West Ham United last weekend, Manchester United will look for a repeat against Aston Villa.

Goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund guided the Red Devils to a 3-0 win over West Ham United at Old Trafford.

Villa on the other hand put five goals past Sheffield United in their last league game but Unai Emery’s men were beaten in midweek by Chelsea.

A 3-1 loss to the Blues means Villa exit the FA Cup and have the Premier League top four spots to focus on.

Villa currently occupy the fifth position on the Premier League table, eight points above United who sit in sixth.

In the earlier meeting between these two sides, Erik ten Hag’s side recovered from a 2-0 first-half defeat to claim all three points ending the game 3-2.

Hojlund scored an 82nd-minute winner in that encounter after a Garbacho brace to tie the score.

Though a win for United will see them still sit sixth, it will close the gap between themselves and Villa while the latter winning will take them to fourth.

The game is set to kick off at 116:30 GMT.
