Copenhagen vs Manchester City prediction, odds and preview

Manchester City will be aiming to keep their UEFA Champions League title defence on track when they visit Copenhagen in their Round of 16 first-leg encounter on Tuesday night.

The Cityzens topped Group G in style to book a place in the last 16 while Copenhagen finished in second place in Group A behind Bayern Munich to reach the knockout stages.

The visitors have the advantage ahead of this clash with a win and a draw in their last two games against the Danish side.

With three wins in their last four matches, Copenhagen approach this game off a convincing 3-1 win over Molde and will hope the home advantage gets them a good result against the current champions.

Pep Guardiola’s side, however, beat Everton in the Premier League over the weekend to keep their hopes alive, and with a 100 per cent group stage performance, the visitors are favourites to be victors in this fixture as well.

Roony Bardghji and Scott Mckenna are expected to be the main threat for the hosts meanwhile, Erling Haaland grabbed a brace over the weekend and could be joined by Phil Foden and Kevin de Bruyne in attack for this clash.
