Feyenoord will host Roma in their first-leg Europa League playoff clash on Thursday night at Stadion Feyenoord.

De Kuip finished in third place in Group E behind Lazio and Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League group stage, meanwhile, Roma secured second place in Group F in the Europa League behind Slavia Praha.

The visitors hold the head-to-head advantage with three wins and a draw in their last five matches against the hosts, losing only one in the period.

Also, Roma have only suffered one defeat in their last five matches, and Danielle De Rossi’s side will be aiming to bounce back after their 4-2 defeat to Inter Milan last weekend in Serie A.

Feyenoord however are unbeaten in their last seven matches and could stun the Giallorossi on Thursday night knowing they have the home advantage.

The hosts will be without Justin Bijlow for this clash, as the goalkeeper is suffering from a calf injury, and Timon Wellenreuther is expected to be in the sticks for this match.

Meanwhile, Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku will lead the line of attack for the visitors.

The match starts at 17:45 GMT.
