Manchester City will be aiming to keep their title defense on course when they welcome Chelsea to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday night in the Premier League.

The Cityzens managed to see off Everton last weekend in a 2-0 victory, while the Blues secured back-to-back wins with a 3-1 result over Crystal Palace away from home.

The reverse fixture was one of the best games of the season, as both sides shared the spoils in an eight-goal thriller filled with drama at Stamford Bridge in November.

However, a lot has changed since that fixture. The champions have found themselves and are dominating any opposition that comes their way while Chelsea have suffered two defeats in their last three league matches.

Enzo Fernandez and Cole Palmer have been key for the Blues in recent weeks and the two youngsters will most likely keep their place in Mauricio Pochettino’s starting XI for this clash.

Erling Haaland however opened his account after returning from injury with a second-half brace against Everton, and the Norwegian is expected to be joined by Phil Foden in attack for the visitors.

Also, Kevin De Bruyne has been involved in nine goals since his return from injury in January for Manchester City and the attacking midfielder could prove to be the difference between the two sides on the day.

The match starts at 17:30 GMT.
