Manchester City vs Brentford prediction, odds and preview 

Manchester City will host Brentford at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night, in the quest to keep the title defence on track.

The hosts shared the spoils with Chelsea in a 1-1 draw at home last weekend, meanwhile, Brentford suffered a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Liverpool on Saturday.

The reverse fixture came off just about a fortnight ago, and Pep Guardiola’s men ensured that they grabbed all three points on the day.

Also, Manchester City will know their finishing ability on the day needs to improve after dropping points to Chelsea in a game where Erling Haaland heavily let his team down in the final third.

Jack Grealish could make a return to the starting XI in place of Jeremy Doku, and Bernardo Silva could replace Julian Álvarez from the start for the Cityzens.

Meanwhile, Ivan Toney is expected to be the target man in front for the visitors.
