Arsenal will face Porto away from home in their first-leg UEFA Champions League Round of 16 clash at Estadio de Dregao on Wednesday night.

Porto were runners in Group H behind Barcelona with four wins and two losses in six matches.

Meanwhile, the Gunners managed to finish as table toppers of Group B, winning four matches while drawing and losing a game apiece in the group phase.

Arsenal have not reached the last 16 of the Champions League since the 2016/2017 season, and the last time they reached the quarter-final of this competition was in the 2009/2010 season when they beat Porto in a 6-2 result on aggregate.

Porto have also never been beaten at home by Arsenal in Champions League history, and the hosts have only suffered one defeat in their last six matches, leaving room for a possible upset come Wednesday night.

The hosts will be unable to rely on the services of Zaidu Sanusi after the Nigerian suffered an ACL injury in Porto’s win over Estrela last weekend.

Meanwhile, Leandro Trossard will join Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli in attack for the visitors.

Also, although Thomas Partey is back in team training, his participation in this clash looks very unlikely.

The match starts at 20:00 GMT
