La Liga President Javier Tebas believes the league will welcome Mason Greenwood if he decides to continue playing in the Spanish top flight.
The England international is on a season-long loan deal from Manchester United after off-the-field issues led to him being left out of the squad for some time.
Greenwood joined Getafe following his clearance to play once again and has added spark to the club.
There are talks the player could be on the move when the transfer window opens in the summer with a host of clubs also interested alongside Getafe.
Knowing the issues affiliated with the player, Tebas says he wouldn’t mind the youngster continuing to ply his trade in Spain’s top flight.
“Greenwood was not condemned, so I don’t care,” he said.
“He’s a great player and he’s doing really well at Getafe as a player, so I hope he continues to be successful and he continues to stay in Spanish football because that’s always good for us.”
Greenwood has five goals and five assists for Getafe in the league.
