Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool prediction, odds and preview

Following contrasting FA Cup victories, Nottingham Forest and Liverpool meet for a Premier League match at the City Ground on Saturday afternoon.

The Tricky Trees were eliminated from the cup after losing 1-0 to Manchester United in the fifth round, while the young Reds celebrated knockout success by defeating Southampton 3-0.

Liverpool’s win in midweek follows their Carabao Cup final win over Chelsea last weekend when Virgil van Dijk scored a late winner at Wembley.

Forest will now need to focus on avoiding the drop after crashing out of the FA Cup in midweek.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side has dropped to 17th in the rankings, just four points ahead of Luton Town despite having played one more game than the Hatters, and only one of their previous six Premier League games has resulted in a victory.
