Barcelona will host Mallorca at the Olympic Stadium on Friday night in La Liga, in what is expected to be a keenly contested match.

Mallorca however approach this clash off a 1-0 win over Girona at home last weekend and will be full of confidence knowing they have the opportunity to edge past another Catalan side this week.

The reverse fixture saw both teams play out a 2-2 draw at Estadi Mallorca Son Moix, yet the Catalans will look to grab all three points this time around to put the pressure on Real Madrid and Girona in the title race.

Also, Barcelona are unbeaten in their last five matches against Mallorca across all competitions, winning four and drawing only once in the period.

The Catalans were handed another injury blow this season as Frenkie de Jong and Pedri Gonzalez were both forced off the pitch in the draw against Atletico Bilbao, and Xavi Hernandez could give Raphinha a start in midfield in this game.

Meanwhile, Mallorca will heavily rely on Cyle Larin in the final third of attack in this game.
