Chelsea vs Newcastle prediction, odds and preview

Chelsea will host Newcastle on Monday night at Stamford Bridge in the English Premier League, in what is expected to be a truly enthralling battle.

The hosts shared the spoils with Brentford last weekend in a 2-2 result away from home at the GTECH Community stadium.

Newcastle however approach this game off a 3-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at St James’ Park last weekend and will hope they can build on that result away from home.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side will hope they can grab all three points at home to find their feet once more as Chelsea have only one win in their last five matches across all competitions.

The reverse fixture saw the visitors stun Chelsea at St James Park in a 4-1 result, and the Blues will do everything to turn the tides around in their favour this time around.

For Chelsea, Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer will most likely keep their place as starters in the XI.

Meanwhile, Alexander Isak is expected to partner Anthony Gordon in attack for the visitors in this game.
