We can’t compete against PSG – Xavi on Champions League draw

Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez is confident his side will come good when they face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

The two teams will face off in the quarterfinal of the competition following last Friday’s draw in Nyon.

Barcelona beat Napoli en route to reaching the last eight stage while PSG were aggregate winners over Real Sociedad.

With PSG flying high, they are tipped as favourites to qualify for the semis ahead of Barcelona but Xavi believes his side will be up to the task against the Ligue 1 side.

“We know that Paris Saint-Germain are probably the favourites because of the huge transfers that they made,” said the Barcelona boss.

“But remember we have the history by our side with more Champions League trophies.”

“I’m sure we can compete, we will do our best.”

Barcelona moved second on the La Liga league table following their win over Atletico Madrid on Sunday night.
