Mbappe to Real Madrid is ‘top news for La Liga’- Carvajal

Dani Carvajal insists Kylian Mbappe’s possible move to Spain is not just great news for Real Madrid, but for La Liga as well on a holistic level.

Mbappe is set to join the Merengues this summer after communicating his intention to depart Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent at the end of the ongoing 2023/2024 season.

Speaking to the press about the quality the France international would bring to the club and La Liga, Carvajal expressed his delight in the possible transfer, indicating that the player would mark an era for Madrid in La Liga.

“The club hasn’t told us anything about Mbappé. But it seems like it’s a possibility to see Mbappé joining Real in the summer, yes.., it would be great to have him here, he’s a top player. It’s top news for Real but also for the entire La Liga”, he told Spanish news outlet COPE.

With 38 goals in 37 matches this season, Mbappe looks set to achieve his best year on the scoring charts in France, and his possible move to Real Madrid has come at no better time.

Mbappe is not the only name Madrid is looking to bring in this summer as Alphonso Davies is also on the cards of Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
