“My dream is to return to Barcelona” – Julian Araujo

Las Palmas fullback, Julian Araujo, has expressed his desire to make a return to his parent club Barcelona in the summer of 2024 when his loan spell expires.

The Mexican fullback moved on a one-year loan deal from Barcelona to Las Palmas ahead of the 2023/2024 season and has impressed in La Liga as one of the finest laterals in this campaign.

Speaking to Fox Sports about his desire to return to the Catalan club in the summer to be part of Barcelona’s 2024/2025 squad, Julian Araujo expressed his hopes of making a comeback to the club, believing it would fulfil a dream he has always had.

“I feel very good at Las Palmas, but of course, my dream is to return to Barcelona. I hope to have a chance at Barça”, he said.

Barcelona still have Jules Kounde and Joào Cancelo as options in that right-back role this season.

However, Julian Araujo has shown great promise this season and could stand a chance of being a part of the Blaugrana project next summer.
