I’m playing my best football right now – Jamal Musiala

Jamal Musiala says he is delighted with the personal level of consistency in his game for both Bayern Munich and the German national team.

The 21-year-old is on course to surpass his best-ever tally for goals and assists in his career this season with 21 goal contributions in all competitions so far, and his staggering form is a delight to see for many.

Speaking to German media outlet BILD in an interview, Musiala expressed his satisfaction with his performance, believing he has taken a step forward and is growing in confidence by the day.

“I feel like I’m playing my best football right now,” he said.

“I realize that I have taken a step forward. I’m scoring the goals and getting the assists you need to get attention. I’ve been playing consistently all season and I want to continue.”

After impressing while on national team duty with Germany, the youngster will now turn his attention to Bayern Munich with a clash against Borussia Dortmund next on the card on Saturday, March 30.
